on 06/09/2022Working across such a highly productive region with some of Australia’s most innovative farmers, Rabobank Area Manager Nat Purdy is inspired daily.
A partnership for growth “As a team we try to think outside the box when it comes to helping our clients make timely business decisions, and in turn, we’re excited to be learning from our clients every day.”
Nat leads a female dominated team of eleven staff across Rabobank’s Narrogin and Lake Grace branches. Nat commented that she is proud to be supporting women in agribusiness, with Vynka de Vree and Delys Giles working for Rabobank for ten years, Kellie Wilkins for 13 years, whilst Claire Gray, currently on maternity leave, has been in the Lake Grace branch for six years.
“It’s rewarding to be part of a team so engaged in agriculture, and the local region,” Nat said.
“Our staff take a long-term view, partnering with clients to grow their businesses whilst forming meaningful relationships.”
Prime focus is farming Working across a region renowned for its cropping and livestock sectors, Nat said all staff had the benefit of a rural background, and with Rabobank focused purely on farming clients, there was an exceptional level of rural expertise within the team.
The team also benefits from our local and global network of RaboResearch analysts providing timely insights and market updates, ultimately helping decision making at a farm-gate level.
“Just like my team, I love nothing more than being on-farm with clients, seeing their operation first-hand and connecting them with our team of research analysts helping provoke thought and plan for a sustainable future for their farm businesses.”
Ingrained in rural communities Nat, who has been with Rabobank for a decade, moved across from Merredin in 2019, and is thrilled to be part of such a vibrant community for the long-term.
Contributing to the region is another source of great pride within the team, with all staff actively involved in local community initiatives. Rabobank is also a long-term partner of local ag industry groups such as Facey Group, Women in Farming, the Lakes Grower Group, Holt Rock Grower Group, Lakes Information and Farming Technology group, plus supporters of local field days including Newdegate Machinery Field Days and the Wagin Woolorama.
