Experience history in the making touring the exciting emerging northern cotton industry. Join us as we visit pioneering properties and learn about the region’s opportunities and challenges.

Tour Highlights

This six day tour kicks off in Darwin, before traveling across the north, encompassing the emerging Katherine, Kununurra, and Ord Valley cotton regions.

Get a front row seat to learn about the emerging industry’s development and strategy, the on farm and ginning innovation and how pioneering growers have overcome the challenges and embraced the opportunities.

Experience the diversity of the Northern Territory’s emerging cotton industry with visits to innovative businesses, research and diversification initiatives, as well as exploring the Ord River Irrigation Scheme/Lake Argyle and surround cotton development.

What can you expect to gain from this experience:

  • Understand the emerging cotton market in the Top End
  • Learn about water management and inputs
  • Meet and get to know the Top End’s new cotton growers
