Rabobank statement on Coronavirus support

Rabobank will offer a range of measures to support farming and small agribusiness clients negatively impacted by COVID-19, where required.

The specialist agribusiness bank said while the Australian agricultural sector is in an overall strong position to manage through the disruptions of the Coronavirus, in instances where clients’ businesses were negatively impacted, the bank would offer support initiatives including:

- deferral of scheduled loan payments,

- waiving of break costs on early redemption of farm management deposits to allow access to needed funds,

- waiving of fees on loan increases necessary for rebuilding operations and

- waiving of fees for equipment finance variations.

Rabobank is monitoring the evolving situation with COVID-19 and actively contacting all potentially-affected clients to assess their individual situations and provide support where required. Support would be tailored to fit the individual needs of farming and agribusiness clients.

The bank is fully committed to maintaining its high-quality service to clients and support to the wider sector to work through the challenges ahead.

The wellbeing and interests of the bank’s clients and employees are paramount and it is taking all steps needed to assist them through this period.
